Delete your account & data

You can delete your ComplyWithMe account and all associated data at any time. This is permanent and cannot be undone.

What gets deleted

• Your account and sign-in identity.
• Any data synced to or backed up in the cloud.
• The compliance data held on your device (properties, tenancies, certificates, deposits, Right to Rent checks and the rest).

Records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons (e.g. proof of a payment) are retained only for as long as the law requires and are then deleted — see our Privacy Policy.

Delete from within the app

Deletion is built into the app, where you're signed in and we know it's you: open Settings → Account → Delete account and confirm. Your account, cloud data and on-device data are removed immediately.

No longer have the app?

If you've removed the app or can't sign in, email us and we'll verify your identity and delete your account and data:

Deletion requests are actioned without undue delay and within one month, in line with UK GDPR.
