This Acceptable Use Policy applies to your use of the ComplyWithMe apps and websites. It forms part of our Terms of Use. Breach of this policy may result in suspension or termination of your account.
The Services are a digital record-keeping tool to assist with landlord compliance. You are solely responsible for ensuring the factual accuracy, honesty, and lawfulness of all compliance records, dates, certificates, and tenancy logs you input into the Services.
You must not:
No verification duty: Steleo does not verify, audit, or warrant the truth, accuracy, or legal validity of any record stored on the Services. You acknowledge that fabricating or backdating legal documents may constitute criminal fraud or perverting the course of justice. We reserve the immediate right to terminate accounts without refund if we have reasonable grounds to suspect fraudulent record-keeping.
You agree to use the Services in strict compliance with the Protection from Eviction Act 1977, the Equality Act 2010, and all applicable housing laws of England and Wales.
You explicitly agree not to use the Services to coordinate, document, or execute:
Each account is for the sole use of one named individual or organisation. You must not share sign-in credentials, operate multiple accounts to obtain additional free-access periods or otherwise circumvent plan limits, or sell or transfer an account. We may suspend accounts where we reasonably believe sharing or circumvention is occurring.
Cloud backup and sync exist to protect your own portfolio's compliance records. They are not a general file-storage, archival or document-management service, and we may apply fair-use limits where usage is clearly outside that purpose.
We may warn you, suspend access, remove content, or terminate an account for breach of this policy — immediately and without notice where the breach is unlawful, fraudulent or a risk to the service or other users, and otherwise with notice and an opportunity to remedy where practicable. We may report unlawful activity to law enforcement or other authorities and cooperate with valid legal process. Termination for breach does not entitle you to a refund except where the law requires. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it; if any provision is unenforceable, the rest continue in force.
Report suspected misuse to abuse@complywithme.co with a description, dates and any supporting evidence. We do not take action against good-faith reporters, even where a report turns out to be unfounded.
We may update this policy from time to time; material changes will be notified with reasonable notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
